It has 2 arms and everything!
I finished my sweater!
Well… It’s not quite finished. I still have to weave in the ends and wash it and block it. I still haven’t figured out how to block this big thing in my tiny house where it won’t be shed on by the dog. I also still haven’t figured out how I’m gonna fix that thing that the back of the neck does when it curls out. Blocking solves everything, right?
But it’s a sweater! It has two arms, and a place for your head to go that is actually larger-than-my-head sized. And the whole sweater is my-sister sized. And I’m so pleased. You’d think that, allowing as how I’m a relatively competent knitter, and I (mostly) followed the knitting directions at the (mostly) correct gauge that were written by another (mostly) competent knitter (I have a bone to pick with their chart-making software), I could be fairly certain that my sweater would come out all functional and sweater-sized, and not be surprised when it did.
But sweaters are mysterious, and you never REALLY know if they’re gonna turn out the way you think they will.
But this one did. 🙂
Better pictures once it’s blocked and I can
bully ask my housemate kindly to take pictures with his nice camera.
